PSS is committed to developing sustainable and green alternative energy technologies, both on the ground and in space.

Direct Fusion Drive

Developed through cutting-edge research with the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, the Direct Fusion Drive (DFD) is a space propulsion system that uses aneutronic fuel in a compact reactor. The system utilizes a field-reversed-configuration and a novel radio-frequency heating system for stable and effiecient heating.

SunStation™ is the first 24/7 100% solar power station for home backup and electric vehicles. Providing 120V/240V AC power from solar-charged batteries, the SunStation is entirely self-contained; it can charge any electric vehicle anytime, anywhere. Single-vehicle and dual-vehicle charging models are available. Grid-tie optional. SunStations can also be used for off-grid power production and home and office emergency backup power.

Wind Systems

Our Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) employs novel control methods for individual blade pitch. Regulating each blade's angle of attack allows for a wider range of operational wind speeds, therefore improving the turbine's ability to extract energy.
