- command, a data point whose value can be changed via VisualCommander
- control deck, the set of modules and systems as described in a setup file
- model, DSim class providing outputs from integrated states
- module, ControlDeck software module
- system, the name of a group of modules
- telemetry, a data point made visible as telemetry in VisualCommander
- variable, a parameter from a CD or DSim that is made accessible to other applications
